1966 Chevelle
Seth Lane's 1966 Chevelle has began its transformation from stout big
block muscle car to world class super car status! Project began with
custom spec. art Morrison super car chassis. We are working with Jason
Rushforth putting concept to paper before cutting. Jason also designed and
supplied the one off wheels. Power will be a 7.1 L Duramax diesel being built
at So Cal Diesel. Power is estimated to be 1400 horsepower and 2800 ft lbs torque!
This thing will turn 6000 RPM! Transmission is still undetermined but will be either a
GM 4L80E or a TH400/Gear Vendors unit. Lots of body mods are planned, big audio and more.
Please check back as this project is going to be wild!

1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Fastback Restomod
The transformation begins on Mike Mayberry's 1964 Galaxie Fastback.
Inspired by a trip to the 2015 SEMA show, Mike wanted to build a big
Ford that can handle and perform at the highest level of today's modern
vehicles, while still maintaining all of the classic styling off the
early sixties.
The foundation for this build begins with a custom spec chassis from Art Morrison
Enterprises that includes their Multilink IRS pachage. This chassis will allow the
injected 527ci Shelby "side-oiler" and Magnum XL 6-speed to live up to their maximum
potential. Visit the Galaxie's homepage for new pictures and more information.

68 Camaro Convertible
Dwight Mullins 1968 Convertible Camaro is nearing completion.
This has been a huge undertaking due to 85% of metal on the car being replaced.
This includes right rear frame rail, trunk pan, rear inner wheel wells, quarter panels,
tail panel, floor pans, upper fire wall/cowl, upper dash, deck lid, doors etc. Only original
metal retained is the roof, A pillars, lower fire wall, trans tunnel and left frame rail!
Powered by a 375 HP 396 backed by a T56 6 speed with a Quicktime bell housing.
Willwood hydraulic clutch release and a Mcleod clutch. Munk race fab narrowed an A body
12 bolt rear and installed Global West weld in sub frame connectors. With dozens of custom
touches this is a stand out 1st Gen. Camaro!

1970 Scout 800A
Michael Hunt’s 1970 Scout 800A continues its transformation from
under powered brush buggy status to a modern hot rod diesel 4x4
loaded with luxuries. Powered by a turned up 4BT Cummins making
an estimated 300 HP. Turbo is a Garrett GT3582R dual ball bearing
61.4-68mm piece. A 4 pass 12x24 air to air inner cooler with 3 in
plumbing, custom intake plenum & mild port work take care of the air.
We just sourced a P7100 Bosch fuel pump that Brad Ponci will re work.
Transmission is a GM TH350 with a custom diesel converter. Transfer
case is a rebuilt 32 spline GM205. A custom built Tom Woods drive
shaft with 1350 U Joints connects to a Munk Race Fab built 9 inch Ford rear.
Late model 2 ½ inch wide YJ springs were used with custom built spring hangers and
shackles. We are narrowing a GM Dana 44 front end & considering a 4 link/Fox
coil over front suspension. Slotted/cross drilled four wheel power disc brakes,
power tilt steering, vintage air heater/AC. Corbeou leather seats. Modern audio
& a 6 point roll cage are just a few of the many modifications on the way at
the Munk Race Fab Shop. Check back often as we will continue to update photos
of this Cummins 4x4 build. |
